Renovation of four village houses

This project concerns the transformation of four buildings located in one of the oldest part of Plan-les-Ouates.
Much of the original building elements have been preserved and the new parts have been executed using traditional construction methods.
The restoration of the facades has been executed with a lime plaster and the cut stone elements have been preserved and restored.
The front roof brackets have been partially restored and partially redone, same thing for the existing windows.
To increase the supply of natural light, barn doors were replaced with glass doors and roof windows and two dormers were added.
The buildings are composed of an office and 3 three-room to six-room apartments.
