Transformation and renovation of a village house

This large 18th century house is located in the heart of the hameau of Arare Dessous. Its interiors have been transformed but some original elements, such as decorations dating from the time of construction of the building, have been restored by a company specialized in conservation and art restoration. The attic has been converted and new roof openings have been made to increase the supply of natural light. The facades were rebuilt with a traditional lime plaster and the windows were restored to preserve all the original elements that had not been degraded by time. The roof has been completely redone with traditional flat tiles.
